Indian Premier League 2020:
The most anticipated IPL 2020 is around the corner and cricket lovers are excited to watch their favorite batsmen and bowlers slay the field. While batsmen have greater acknowledgment, bowlers are a crucial commodity for the team who contain batsmen by preventing the run flow throughout the match. Though every team has fresh or veteran bowlers who are extremely talented, there is always one favorite bowler who shines among the others.
Here is a list of bowlers from different teams in IPL 2020 for whom fans are eagerly waiting:
SUNRISERS HYDERABAD(SRH) – RASHID KHAN
Ever since he made his debut in international cricket in October 2015, the leg-spinner impressed everyone with strong performances for Afghanistan, but his exploits for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League Catapulted him to stardom.
The Afghan cricketer went from strength to strength in every season and the franchise was so impressed by his work that it retained him for a whopping Rs 9 crore for IPL 2019. And as expected, Rashid didn’t disappoint as he bagged 17 wickets from 15 games in IPL last year.
MUMBAI INDIANS – BOOM BOOM BUMRAH
Jasprit Bumrah has emerged as India’s No.1 bowler across all formats. His own choice from that species is unsurprisingly the flash, but for the Indian bowling pack, their superhero is the boy called BOOM. In 2017 he played 16 matches and picked up 20 wickets, In 2018 it was 17 wickets in 14 matches, and in 2019 he picked up 19 wickets in 16 matches. with this unsurpassable record, Bumrah is definitely one of the most feared bowlers in the World.
RAJASTHAN ROYALS – JOFRA ARCHER
A complete package, Jofra Archer was one of the most exciting picks in the IPL players Auction 2018, fetching a cool INR 7.20 crore. In 2018 he picked up 15 wickets in 10 matches. In 2019 he played 11 matches and picked up 11 wickets. Jofra Archer is recovered from the Elbow injury that he had encountered previously and is anticipated to excel in 2020 as well.
DELHI CAPITALS – KAGISO RABADA
In February 2017, Rabada was bought by the Delhi Daredevils teams for the 2017 Indian Premier League. In 2017 he played 6 matches and picked up 6 wickets. In 2019 he picked up 25 wickets in 12 matches.
KINGS XI PUNJAB – MOHAMMAD SHAMI
In December 2018, he was brought by Kings XI Punjab in the player auction ahead of the 2019 season. In 2018 he picked up 3 wickets out of 4 matches and in 2019 he played 14 matches and picked up 19 wickets.
CHENNAI SUPER KINGS – DWAYNE BRAVO
Dwayne Bravo is one of the most entertaining players in the world. He brings in Caribbean swagger to the IPL and bats with typical west Indian flair with lovely shots all around the wicket. In 2018 he picked up 14 wickets out of 16 matches and in 2019 he played 12 matches and picked up 11 wickets. And Everybody is waiting for DJ BRAVO.
ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGLORE – YUZVENDRA CHAHAL
Yuzvendra Chahal’s became the first Indian bowler to have picked up a five-wicket haul in T20Is. In 2018 he played 14 matches and picked up 12 wickets. In 2019 he played 14 matches and picked up 18 wickets.
KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS – SUNIL NARINE
One of the mainstays of KKR’S bowling attack of 5 years, Sunil Narine’s batting exploits have come to the fore of late more than his bowling. He picked up 17 wickets out of 16 matches in 2018. And in 2019 he picked up 10 wickets in 12 matches.
